Wat Neramit Wipatsana (วัดเนรมิตวิปัสสนา)

Wat Neramit Wipattasana (วัดเนรมิตวิปัสสนา) was somewhere we visited when we were in Loei.

This is a recently built temple in an enormous site on the hillside near Phra That Si Song Rak. There is a pagoda made of red-colored laterite (si la laeng) and this is unlike anywhere else in Thailand.

"Buddhists come to the temple to pray toward an official replica of Phra Phutthachinnarat, a revered buddha image in Phitsanulok Province, enshrined in the ordination hall as well as a a wax figure of the late Luang Pho Phra Maha Phan Sila Wisuttho, the founder of the temple, which is displayed inside the pagoda." text courtesy of Tourism Thailand.

The temple may be new but because it was built in respect to a respected Monk it has a certain charm of age and quality.

The windows are beautifully made in the traditional way - quite spectacular.

What always fascinates me are these paintings on the walls.

Always...

And the gardens are beautiful.
