Nui beach in Phuket

You can get to Nui Beach on a long tail boat from Kata Noi (1,500 Baht) or over a bumpy, long, dirt road which is quite scary in a car AND the road was dry.

It is a beach which you must pay to visit - 250 Baht per adult and 125 Baht for children. You do get a sunbed, drink and an umbrella for this.  What you pay for is the luxury of being away from it all and you are not bothered.  The sea is clear and there is a lovely view.

The let down is the sand - it is not sand at all but more like grit.

A nice place to escape to and to add to the experience I would go by long tailed boat.

John Gray Sea Canoe - an update

“After travelling around the world touring as saxophone player for the band ub40.
This is the best trip of them all 5*

Well the saying you get what you pay for is so true when we are talking about John Gray's Sea Canoe Trip. This has to be by far the best trip I have ever been on, it has everything, great Canoes, great boat, great activities, a FULL trip coming back at night, Great GREAT food served and a brilliant crew. I can't recommend this trip highly enough. We went on a few boat trip while in Phuket. John Grays is not greatly advertised by the street sellers, but hunt it out and book it. It is worth every penny and more in fact. If you are lucky enough to get Sonny as your guide, you are in for a truly wonderful day out. Enjoy, a lifetime of memories.
Sgt Cracker, Saxophone, UB40

A wonderful trip - only surpassed by doing it twice or sleeping in the islands under the stars and canoeing in the early morning.

Use John Gray Sea Canoe as this is the premier company and if you are lucky enough John might be there himself to regale you with a number of entertaining stories.

Read the reports of people who have been on this trip to really understand why this is a trip worth taking.
