Stop 1: Wat Suan Phlu - a small Wat, with a small reclining Buddha, lovely, a stop with making if you are in the area

Stop 5: Harmonique - a small Chinese restaurant in an old house, went in for a coffee, so that's all I can add - very popular with tourists and certainly photogenic

Stop 6: Wat Muang Kae - a small Wat, next to a school but between tall skyscrapers and more

Kwan Riam Floating Market

Kwan Riam Floating Market is a Floating Market near our home so it is very convenient for us to visit. Well technically it is not a floating market because there is actually very little in the water - but never mind it is near the edge and there are some boats in the water.

We arrived on one side of the river and Wat Bang Pheng Tai.

We walked through the local covered market to get there. Quite a spectacle in itself actually - there was a lot of food cooked in the middle and around the outside were shops, predominantly clothes. Then in the corner were some animals.

some llama

and some parrots.

Then over the bridge - where the white swans were.

Then into the market - funny baths to sit in...

Then something to eat - I tried the rainbow cheese...

On leaving I tried to visit Wat Bang Pheng popped into Pheng Tai but was unable - I did find the very big garden at the back though.

Wat Bowonniwet Vihara วัด บวรนิเวศวิหาร

The Wat Bowonniwet Vihara was a Wat that I found in the Wat Bowon Niwet Area - which also encloses other places to visit.

On entering I was taken aback with how peaceful it was, and this was outside it.

The feeling continued when I entered - then on walking around I was taken aback with how this Wat was serene.

With an enormous Golden Chedi in it.

I wandered around quite aimlessly and simply admired what there was to see - I loved the coloured stone figures but I do not know what each represent?
