Wat Khun Chee is a little different from the Wats which I have written about here on this blog.
Wat Khun Chee is actually a Buddhist Nun's Monastery, a Meditation Retreat Centre and Training Monastery for lay women and Nuns - in the Theravada Buddhist tradition.
This tradition was originally founded in 1918 in Phang Ng and it is now located at the foot of Khao Rang Hill in Phuket City - but I could find very little about it.
I was not sure about access to the Wat but I entered with respect and took no photographs - there was a lot going on - I was surprised (but happy) that there was a Facebook page.
