Free Wi-Fi in Phuket

There are a number of places in Phuket which advertise free Internet - Vichit Park is a park that I visit with my daughter has it.

Well the poster says that it does but I think that there is another way to do this - sorry I was lost with this. There is a very big increase in the amount of coffee shops, hairdressers, restaurants, bookshops and bars giving you free Internet access.

Even this small local restaurant found by my friend Chaovarit - and the Issan restaurant are kind enough to give you the password under the sign. There are Apps to help you know where to go to find Wi-Fi whilst you are in Phuket but they are not always accurate.

Here's my map of places free Wi-Fi in Phuket which I have tried - but this is not always a guarantee that it will be working...

The Pink Shop in Patong - Hello Kitty

We like the Pink Shop where we can get some Hello Kitty stuff...
(and other things which have been released)

Well what do you go to Patong for?

A Cemetery at Rang Hill.

I was on a walk from Phuket Town to Rang Hill because I felt like it. Powered up with coffee from Sino Inn and Bubble Tea from Phuket Tea Station...

As I wandered past Sam Se Ju Hud Chinese Shrine I turned to begin to walk up the road to Rang Hill.

I saw something very different on the left - a road which could well be missed if you drive up the hill. Carefully I walked inside and all the area looked unkept and had broken  small Chedis and old cages which looked like they held birds.

Progressing further in and I saw a Bodhi tree which I felt still had been cared for. As I walked in further I came upon more and more BUT they were all not Buddhist Shrines - more of them were the same as a Chinese Shrine...

There was a record of my walk but I seem to have lost the App...
