Phraya Rasadanupradit monument

This monument is also known as the monument of Kor Simbee Na Ranong - 1857 to 1913. He made an important economic contribution to Phuket and supported it's economical development.

He began to collect fees from the tin miners and used this money to develop roads and then he invited a foreign bank into Phuket - the Charter bank (which still stands there today) but is supposed to be developed into a Baba museum.

There is a small Fitness Park area on the top of the hill adjacent to the monument.
