Take the Pink bus

There is public transport in Phuket and the Pink Buses are how they are referred to.

The buses are sawngtaew buses and the scheme started in 2009.

Route One.

This runs between Sapan Hin and BigC

Route Two.

This route connects Laem Chan Health Station and Super Cheap.

Both routes will cross paths at the Phuket Provincial Bus Terminal in Phuket Town and on Chumphon Road (near to Phuket City Police Station).  For a fare of just 10 Baht the buses can be joined at specific spots on the route and then left.

Route Three.

This route provides a service from Sapan Hin, through Phuket Town and to Koh Sirae.

A published map is forthcoming but elusive at the moment but there is one in each bus.
