ยินดีต้อนรับสู่ร้านพู่กันจีน - Material for the Chinese Shrines

Chinese Shrines are full of interesting pieces and where can you purchase all of these things? One morning I was sitting in Sweets 'n Treats with an iced coffee and noticed this shop selling a great number of articles for your visit to a Chinese Shrine.

Sapan Hin - Local Food Market and more

Sapan Hin is an interesting place to visit and there is always a lot of different things happening BUT we always visit here to buy some Local food from the stalls in the Car Park.

The deep fried chicken is wonderful but maybe not the whole chicken?

There are a great deal more dishes which seem to be popular with the Local people!

The sausages are the best!

We saw 'crocodile accessories' for sale once!

We have seen the local people collect shells whilst the tide is out.

There is a klong which leads in to the interweaving klongs throughout Phuket Town.

there is more than just this -
Sapah Hin - Paramotoring
Sapan Hin - Naval Museum
Sapan Hin - musical fountain
Sapan Hin - Fun Fair
Sapan Hin - Mangrove Walkway
Sapan Hin - Phuket Vegetarian Festival

Shopping at 'Little Monkey'.

a Chinese figurineHieb Thein Tai Tae. (Guen Ou)
Honesty God.
Little Monkey is a relatively new shop on the edge of Phuket Old Town - which is certainly a place to wander about, there are maps, guides and also an App to do this.

There is a relatively new shop in Old Phuket Town and is a fascinating place to investigate - you coud find something?

The Chinese cap for boys.

The ever more popular Hindu God - Ganesha.

A Merry Christmas egg cup?

Pretty little baskets.

If you visit here for some shopping go two doors down to for lunch at Lock Tien Foodcourt and at Cafe Pirrera across the road for a cappuccino.

Nai Yang Beach

Nai Yang Beach does not have a lot written about it because it is not really a very commercial beach at all.

There are no sunbeds (not everywhere now either) and there is no people selling you products.

This means that you will find a majority of local people who come here with their families - but please recognise the specific flags on the beach!

If you are here early in the morning you will see the local fishermen arrive with their catches and sell them to the local people - but this is early for this!

Today there was someone having some Wedding Photographs. We stayed here one evening because there was a road block to the exit of Phuket Island!

The beach is long and the beach and did not have a lot of rubbish on it - but I do wonder where all the tree remains had come from?

Worth a visit if you are travelling past here but to go here just for the beach? Peace and quiet with a picnic then it is wonderful.

Clothes for when it rains on you

I have posted here things to do when it rains.

So when it does rain where do you go to get all those bits to keep you dry? Many Convenience stores sell this wet weather materials. But this shop in the heart of Phuket Old Town has the best selection.
